Job Overview: We are searching for a qualified Milling Foreman to oversee and manage milling operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in milling operations, effective leadership skills, and a dedication to ensuring projects are completed with the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Milling Operations Management:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise all milling activities on construction sites.

  • Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of milling equipment.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate milling crews to achieve project goals efficiently.

  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor and enforce quality control measures during milling operations.

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address any quality concerns promptly.

  • Resource Management:

  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.

  • Manage inventory and report any equipment issues for prompt resolution.

  • Communication:

  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, production rates, and material usage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Milling Foreman in civil construction projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of milling operations, equipment, and industry best practices.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to creating a safe work environment.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in construction management or related field is a plus).

  • Relevant certifications in milling operations and safety protocols.
