Description Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a VP/Director of Finance.As a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics. This contract opportunity will also be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis.

How you will make an impact

• Improve financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modeling accuracy

• Run the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes

• Create professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations

• Collaborate with the executive team to develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for all aspects of the organization and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets

• Adhere to the company's accounting policies and procedures

• Report regularly on the company's key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders

• Generate detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials Requirements - Demonstrated high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability

• Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

• CPA designation or MBA highly preferred

• Must maintain a high level of accuracy while being detail oriented

• Minimum of 8 years' experience at an executive level role

• Super analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills

• Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills
