Providence St. Joseph Health Social Worker LCSW - Behavioral Health in Richland, Washington

Description The BH LCSW independently practices in an evaluation or treatment setting dedicated to evaluation and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The BH LCSW will collaborate with patient/support system in evaluating, diagnosing patients utilizing current edition Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and/or providing specialized psychotherapy services as described in CPT to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified. Utilizing established approaches and standards the BH LCSW will complete assessment of patient risk to self and/or others, complete and implement risk reduction/mitigation plans to ensure patient and community safety. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree - Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, OR from a school in candidacy status by the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE). Washington Advanced Social Worker License upon hire or, Washington Advanced Social Worker Temporary License upon hire or, Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire or, Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Temporary License upon hire or, Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire or, Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate Temporary License upon hire or, Washington Social Worker Certificate upon hire. 2 years - Post Master's experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
