At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Our Supply Chain team is seeking a Cost/Price Analyst to support the evaluation, negotiation and administration of subcontract actions. Responsibilities will include performing a variety of analytical duties related to audit and analysis of complex supplier proposals covered by the Federal Acquisition Regulations. A day in the life of a Project Cost Analyst may involve, but not limited to the following: * Analyze supplier proposals to ensure adequacy and compliance with laws and regulations. * Analyze direct and indirect elements of pricing proposals. * Produce detailed cost/price reports that can form the basis for negotiations between contract specialists and suppliers. * Make recommendations pursuant to the allocation of costs and the reliability of the suppliers accounting and timekeeping systems. * Determine the adequacy of the supplier's financial conditions and accounting practices with regard to the acceptability of price proposals. * Oversee contract administration efforts to ensure incurred cost audits are completed. Basic Qualifications * Senior Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience. * Principal Level Grade 20: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 10 or more years of relevant experience. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience. Desired Qualifications * BA/BS degree in accounting, business or closely related field. * Advanced understanding of government accounting practices, including Cost Accounting Standards and FAR cost principles. * Background in compliance, accounting and/or audit. * Experience performing cost/price analysis in a government or government contractor environment. Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week): * Senior Level Grade 18: $104,175 - $131,425 * Principal Level Grade 20: $126,025 - $158,875 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
