Chart Industries Junior Supervisor in Rheden, Netherlands

The Big Picture:

Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR), is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Junior Supervisor Assembly who will join our team and assist us in making a valuable difference in the century to come. The main purpose of the role is to support and monitor the shop processes and take actions for improvements. This position will be done in a 2-shift operation.

As a junior you will learn on the job to:

  • Plan and instruct shop workers in the assembly, prefab and welding, Electrical & Instrumentation and Testing.

  • Build compressors and packages in time and within budget hours.

  • Support and monitor the assembly process and take actions for improvements.

  • Reporting daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.

  • Make and maintain capacity planning.

What do you need to bring?

  • Relevant technical background (MBO+ or HBO-level) by education or some work experience in a similar industry.

  • Knowledge of Lean process improvements and Problem Solving.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills incl. an open and engaging communication style.

  • Team player, responsible and a self-starter.

  • Willing to learn and affinity to lead a team.

  • Strong safety, health, environment and quality orientated.

  • Fluency in English, Dutch is preferred.

  • Be pro-active in bringing improvement by showing a strong own responsibility.

  • Willing to work in a 2-shift operation (early and late shift).
