Accounting Finance Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of the company's annual budget and review of budget vs. actual to ensure accuracy (weekly).

• Perform analysis of variances or deviations from expected financial results.

• KPI and Waterfalls monthly basis.

• Prepare Copeland required reporting (Excess & Obsolete Inventory, Physical Inventory Reconciliation)

• Coordinate and direct all activities associated with the company's Physical Inventory process

• Prepare, review and/or enter journal entries into the company's accounting system

• Upload Financial statement in HFM.

• Responsible to review the general accounting ( US and Mexican Ledgers ), coordinate the month end close, preparer corporate reports and provide support to the he controller in different activities.

• Perform reconciliations of inventory and other balance sheet accounts.

• Responsible for closing Inventory, Purchasing, eAM, and AR modules of Oracle on a monthly basis

• Assist in the preparation of the company's financial statements.

• Develop and apply internal control accounting policies and procedures.

• Analyze and support the develop of projects to improve profits, operations and reduce costs.

• Assist in the completion of special projects (New system implementation, corporate management request).

• Ensure accurate heads by line, salary and indirect heads.

• Keep control of the productivity by line, cost per unit by line, Efficiency Variance.

Requirements:

• College degree in Accounting, Finance Administration or similar field.

• 5-8 years experience in Accounting, Finance; or Cost Accounting position within Maquiladora environment.

• Bilingual

• Microsoft Office (excel, power point, access).

• Knowledge in Oracle
