Requisition Summary The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for managing part forecasts in support of the PDC Inventory Planning team using integrated forecasting applications. Job Functions / Responsibilities Actively manage forecasts of parts included in seasonal promotions, incorporating all pertinent information to help obtain optimal results. Achieve, track, and maintain forecast accuracy according to stated goals. Promote continuous improvement of forecasting processes and procedures. Work closely with Inventory Planners in achieving optimal inventory management results. Manage special projects as necessary. Provide timely, quality information to Materials Management through regular updates. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, or related field is required. 1 Year of relevant work experience Six Sigma experience a plus. Forecasting/Inventory control experience or education. Background in Inventory Control, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics. Advanced PC skills in Word, Excel and Access. (a plus) Knowledge of Python, SQL or other coding Strong Self-management skills and initiative Knowledge of Blue Yonder/JDA or other forecasting software. A team player with excellent communication skills. Strong analytical ability to monitor and identify trends in large volumes of data. Perform other duties as required. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $86,350 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
