Universal Engineering Sciences Field Technician in Reno, Nevada
Job Responsibilites:
Travel to various job sites.
Perform observations, field testing, and inspections.
Document field activity and report the findings to clients and supervisors.
Communicate with various field personnel and coworkers.
Communicate with managers, show commitment as a team player, organize work and manage time effectively.
Able to lift 75lbs.
Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
1+ years of relevant experience.
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to read and write, and ability to use a computer.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least (1) one certification, such as ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Structural Steel, and Bolting, ICC Prestressed Concrete, ICC Certified Commercial Building Inspector, DSA Masonry Special Inspector, DSA Shotcrete Special Inspector.
Previous experience performing special inspections on at least one type of construction material (such as soils, masonry, concrete, structural steel).
