Fortive Corporation Senior Product Designer in Remote, United States

Join our growing UX team as a pivotal product designer, shaping the future of our innovative and essential B2B SaaS platform, trusted and used daily by some of the world's most prestigious brands!

Our UX team touches all aspects of product research, content, and design, and collaborates closely with product managers, TPMs, and engineers. As a Senior Product Designer, you will have a major influence on how we design our user experiences on web and mobile. You will create intuitive, efficient, and scalable end-to-end product designs that transform how our customers handle significant facets of their businesses, and how tens of thousands of people spend their days!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of end-to-end task flows and features with a focus on coherence, usefulness, usability, and accessibility.

  • Drive the continuous development and evolution of our design patterns and design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency in our product design processes.

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other partners to define requirements, conceptualize solutions, and deliver compelling user experiences.

  • Conduct user research and explore data to gather insights, refine design decisions, and measure the impact of your work.

  • Stay current with trends and best practices in B2B SaaS design, advocating for innovative solutions that enhance our products.

  • Present design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders at all levels, articulating design rationale and the value to the user and business.

  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to cultivate their growth and uphold design excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on B2B SaaS platforms and significant user workflows.

  • Experience contributing to or leading the development of design systems.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    Plus Requirements

  • Experience designing for native mobile platforms.

  • Experience designing for global customers and users.

  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

National: The salary range for this position is $100,700 - $186,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
