Information Technology Strategies SecDevOps Lead in Remote, District Of Columbia
Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a SecDevOps Lead to work for our company.
Summary:
Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
Client Agency is Department of Homeland Security.
Will collaborate with stakeholders, support contractors, and third-party vendors throughout system integration, performance, security, Section 508, system acceptance, user acceptance, usability, and test and evaluation reporting.
Will collaborate with SDD teams on infrastructure and cloud need to include researching, developing, and enhancing SecDevOps monitoring tools and processes.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
Must have 7+ years of relevant experience.
Must have experience in security compliance, regulations, and best practices; automation and tooling; and incident response.
Must have hands-on and theoretical experience with Agile framework or Agile software delivery.
Must actively seek knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, and Agile development and SecDevOps practice.
Must have experience overseeing testing practices and code reviews to ensure security and integrity.
Must have experience with 508 compliance requirements.
Must be willing and able to participate in an oral presentation preparation and code challenge.
Preferences:
An ACTIVE U.S. Department of Homeland Security or U.S. Department of Defense security Top Secret clearance.
Located in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area.
Previous experience participating in oral presentations in and code challenges.
