Information Technology Strategies Program Manager in Remote, District Of Columbia

Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to work for our company.

Summary:

  • Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).

  • Client Agency is Department of Homeland Security.

  • Will be responsible for all aspects of the program management function and administrative support including tasks such as meeting logistics and coordination, maintaining contractor EOD submission paperwork, contractor provisioning requests for email, PIV card, CFE, exit and transfer paperwork, documentation etc. Will also provide general oversight of the program, team communication, performance, personnel, financials, and reporting.

  • Will attend a weekly meeting to discuss the program performance and any issues or upcoming initiatives.

  • Will be responsible for formulating and delivering an action plan to correct identified issues or initiatives.

  • Will prepare and deliver a monthly Program Management Review presentation to the Solutions Development Directorate (SDD) detailing completed and upcoming work.

  • Will ensure that all deliverables are provided in a timely manner.

  • Most be able to support security processing and interfacing with COR.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).

  • Must have an ACTIVE Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Must have a Certified Scrum Manager Certification (CSM) or other Agile certification.

  • Must have 7+years of relevant experience.

  • Must have a B.S. or B.A. Degree in a relevant field.

  • Must be available via telephone between the hours of 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • Must respond to requests or resolutions of technical problems within 24 hours of notifications beyond the hours of 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. EST Monday through Friday.

  • Must have hands-on and theoretical experience with Agile framework or Agile software delivery.

  • Must have a deep understanding of Agile ceremonies.

  • Must be willing and able to participate in an oral presentation preparation and code challenge.

Preferences:

  • An ACTIVE U.S. Department of Homeland Security or U.S. Department of Defense security Top Secret clearance.

  • Located in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area.

  • Previous experience participating in oral presentations in and code challenges.
