Antech Diagnostics Commercial Data Governance Manager in Remote, California

Job Purpose/Overview

The Manager – Commercial Data Governance plays an important role in developing and managing commercial data quality processes which will contribute to expansion of organizational metrics, and increased ability to measure, as well as activate programs, campaigns, and sales/marketing strategies. This includes developing a proactive data-quality roadmap and guidelines that will enable clear output across the Antech organization. As the Data Governance Manager, you will partner across the organization to implement and manage policies and inspire a data-centric culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enhances commercial data integrity – particularly within the Salesforce environment and in areas such as account creation or updates to key fields within sales, service, and marketing tools.

  • Develops measures of data quality (e.g. completeness, uniqueness, consistency, validity, accuracy, timeliness) and lead initiatives to improve across each dimension) and surfaces regular reporting (e.g. Salesforce, PowerBI) to trend changes.

  • Creates output of source data relating to Commercial activity into meaningful analytics using tools (such as PowerBI) from Salesforce, Excel and a variety of data sources. Metadata expert.

  • Designs, implements, and manages both automated and manual data quality governance measures.

  • Collaborates with analysts and Salesforce administrators to implement review processes, access controls, and to mitigate key discrepancies between or within systems.

  • Provides tactical support on data governance update needs while building roadmap.

  • Develops cross-functional relationships to champion a data-driven culture where data is the anchor to critical business decisions).

  • Other duties as assigned, which may be administrative in nature.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years’ experience using Salesforce, either in technical roles or as a business stakeholder (e.g. sales operations, service, etc.).

  • 3-5 years’ experience building reporting in a variety of platforms using source data and turning it into data analytics through a variety of platforms, especially Power BI.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Building reports in PowerBI

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing processes

  • Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations

  • Proficiency in data profiling and data quality assessment.

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data governance concepts to various stakeholders.

  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with various teams, both internal to Marketing and Sales, as well as external vendors.

  • Performs work duties with a high-level of integrity in alignment with the 5 Principles of Mars.

Travel

Up to 10% with peaks and valleys through the year.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Environment where pets are present.

The Target Pay Range for this position is $76,700 - $105,000 annually. At Mars, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
