PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $122,000.00-$149,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $94,500.00 - $176,500.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. The Senior Technical Analyst at BECU will play a key role in providing technical guidance and functional support for internal and member-facing applications. You will leverage your advanced troubleshooting expertise to ensure optimal functionality, align with business solutions, and contribute to the success of strategic business initiatives. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Troubleshooting Complex Technical Problems : Provide functional support for end-user applications and utilize technical tools for identification and resolution of issues.

  • Support Application Enhancements : Collaborate with Business Analysts to support application modifications and new products.

  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery : Participate in planning and execution, serving as a key resource.

  • Maintain Technical Expertise : Develop and maintain advanced technical expertise for applications and participate in business readiness discovery sessions.

  • Lead Teams and Mentor : Lead teams in coordinating and resolving high-impact production issues, as well as mentor and train other Technical Analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of systems analysis experience

  • Two to three years of SQL and/or various relational database concepts and languages

  • Experience with Microsoft IIS 7.0 – 8.5 and Web Services & Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in related field

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with financial institution software applications

  • Experience working in SDLC/PMLC environment

  • Experience with technical tools such as Splunk, SCOM, AppDynamics, Powershell & load balancers
