As a Software Engineer in the Deployment team, you’ll have the opportunity to make high impact changes daily. Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, analysis, development, deployment & operations efforts for multiple enterprise services.

• Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).

• Follow established Software engineering standards and practices with the team/wider organization.

• Actively collaborate with other engineers on the team for feature/project deliverables

• Adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products helps improve monitoring and operations at scale.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or any equivalent high-level programming language

• OR equivalent experience.

• Experience with coding and debugging, and understanding of software design principles.

• Experiences building with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or any cloud provider.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

• OR related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript,

• OR or any equivalent high-level programming language

• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or any equivalent high-level programming language

• OR equivalent experience.

• Experiences working with software profilers, performance tuning and working knowledge of OS/Kernel.

• Experience developing large-scale, high availability services.

• Experience working on large-scale Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment systems.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,400 - $151,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,300 - $165,400 per year.
