The Fraud Protection team is providing a platform service for our customers to protect their service from domain specific fraud vectors. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us drive the continued success of our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, reliability, scalability, latency, security, resiliency, and efficiency of a service.

  • Contribute to debugging, troubleshooting complete stack of a service and drive analysis of an outage.

  • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.

  • Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements.

  • Conduct periodic on call duties.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience coding in C#, Java or Python

  • OR equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of professional experience working with large-scale distributed systems.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the entire software development life cycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and live site support.

  • 2+ years experience developing solutions that are Cloud-enabled (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google).

  • Experience designing/developing fraud protection related solutions.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
