Microsoft Corporation Product Manager II in Redmond, Washington

As a Product Manager II, you will be at the heart of co-innovating, incubating, and developing our next-gen memory-optimized products. This involves utilizing the latest Compute Express Link (CXL), which is the industry-standardized cache-coherent protocol for extending and pooling memory. Responsibilities

  • You will drive and track success criteria of a feature group. You’ll also partner with others to identify short-term investment opportunities and collaborate with partners to garner support for that feature group.

  • You will demonstrate ability to define a feature set and will facilitate usability reviews with customers. You’ll start to own a portion of the roadmap for a feature group, and will organize scenario walkthroughs to identify problems.

  • You will partner with Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the group of features you worked on and co-present at large events.

  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also begin to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program managemen

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Master’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.

  • Technical aptitude and customer obsession with a bias towards action.

  • Flexibility to learn and apply learning to improve business outcomes.

  • Partnering and influencing system engineers, computer architects, hardware design engineers and executives

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
