Financial Analysis & Controls 1 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Analysis & Controls 1 for an opportunity in Redmond WA Position Title: Financial Analysis & Controls 1 Location: Redmond WA, Remote Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 2-3 Months Contract Job Type: Contract and Remote (Anywhere in USA) Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: * Minimum 2 years experience with General Ledger (GL) Accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, and excel workbooks). * Minimum 2 years experience with Audit work * Minimum 2 years experience with Financial statement preparation. Job Description: Job Responsibilities: * Preparation and review of statutory basis financial statements * Coordinate activity with external auditors, legal, treasury, and tax to complete annual financial statement and tax filings * Utilize system tools to manage financial statement and tax filings Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. * Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. * Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. * Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. * 0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
