**SMART WORKFORCE CENTER and US FOREST SERVICE Have immediate positions available in Shasta and Trinity County for temporary, full-time work in the Shasta Trinity National Forest to help our community recover from the effects of recent fires.
Work Crew Positions
- Day Crews and Lead $25.08 - 28.08/hr
- Camping Crew and Lead $30.23-33.23/hr
Forest Fire Damage Repair
- Ash and Waste Clean Up
- Roads and Trails Repair
- Burned Tree and Brush Removal
- Waterway Clean-Up and Repair
Wildland Employment Camping Crew includes:
- Tent Camping Provided
- Wilderness Skill Training
Job Candidates
- 18 years of age or older
- On unemployment or at least 4+ weeks unemployed
- Not afraid of hard work
- Willingness to be outdoors and traveling for extended periods of time
