Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC T32, Position Description Number PDD2194000and is part of the AZ SAAO, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located with the State Aviation Office. The aircraft and systems maintained primarily involves those UAS where the aircraft relies on the Flight Control System to automatically set the main flight parameters based on navigational information input by the operator. The UAS mission involves a variety of functions such as surveillance, reconnaissance, combat search and rescue support, and potential target illumination, laser targeting, etc., when airframe capabilities permit. This position is required to support and sustain a regular and reliable operator flight training program. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted: E1/PVT - E6/SSG Warrant Officer: W1/WO1 - W2/WO2 Compatible Military Assignments: Enlisted: 15E Warrant Officer: 150U GENERAL EXPERIENCE:- Experience or training that has provided the candidate with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components, and to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications. Must be skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 18 months experience or training installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification. Experience coordinating the work of other mechanics, and scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow. Must have the ability to instruct lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, and fuel controls sufficient for the exhibit to be returned to its shipping container. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
