Shift: 12:00 PM start time
Summary The Checker is responsible for verifying both inbound and outbound inventory matches.
Responsibilities * Responsible for verifying both inbound and outbound inventory matches. * Ensure load accuracy at check-in and checkout by physically counting. * Visually inspect and verify accuracy to company standards on all built pallets being built, loaded. * Maintain required records. * Enter inventory data in the handheld. * Visually inspecting all incoming and outgoing vehicles (including climbing onto a truck and manually opening bay doors). * Responsible for pulling orders by layers based on a pick ticket or following directives from a voice pick system. * Responsible for loading picked orders onto a delivery truck using a rider jack. * Build all orders to a high standard of accuracy and stability using industrial power equipment. * Manually lift and move product to pallets from pick locations in the warehouse. * Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards. * Responsible for meeting the ABARTA efficiency standards when building orders. * Stage all completed pallets in designated areas by your supervisor or lead. * Responsible to clean up the warehouse and any spillages created while picking orders. * All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED. * 1+ years of general work experience required. * 1+ year prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred. * Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment a plus. * Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack, forklift and/or lift product; certification is required. * Demonstrated attention to detail. * Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. * Consistent bending, squatting, and reaching while doing order building tasks. * Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards. * Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of various size and weight requiring fine motor skills plus good eye-hand coordination. * Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print. * Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
