Sodexo is seeking a Community Outreach Dietitian at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, OH . The Dietitian will work at the UH Food for Life Market. This is a great opportunity for a new RD or experienced RD who has a passion for community nutrition!

The successful candidate will:

• walk the clients through the UH Food for Life Market, providing informal counseling on dietary needs and optimal food choices;

• manage the materials and food inventory of the Food for Life Market for clients identified as food insecure; and

• participate in community events such as food collection programs;

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in OH;

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
