UL, LLC Regional Facilities Leader in Raleigh, North Carolina

  • Reports directly to the Global Director of Facilities Management.

  • Responsible for direct oversight of all facilities within their area of responsibility and supporting corporate policies and initiatives.

  • Accountable for compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations required to sustain business operations and support the safety of the ULS employees.

  • Accountable for operating, expense, and capital budgets for their region.

  • Accountable for identifying and managing all facilities risks within the region.

  • Accountable for long range and strategic corporate plans for the facility or facilities of responsibility and undertakes corporate projects resulting in establishment of policy, procedures, and direction that impact all ULS facilities.

  • Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

  • Accountable for all maintenance and minor construction projects within region and coordination with the Real Estate and Construction Departments of ULS.

  • Support local and regional leaders as required.

  • May be assigned additional operational responsibilities at the direction of the Global Facilities Director .

  • Travel as required to support efficient operations and business continuity.

  • Typically, less than 25% travel required

  • University Degree (Equivalent to a U.S. master’s degree) in a technical discipline or equivalent mix of education and experience

  • CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or other relevant certifications

  • LEAN or Continuous Improvement Experienc

  • 10-15+ years of facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision experience in laboratory, critical, or manufacturing environments

  • Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities.

  • Strong organizational and management skills within matrixed organizations; including oversight of both technical and administrative staff.

  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities Management with Multi Site Experience Managing Annual Budgets in excess of $5M

  • Strong track record of client or customer satisfaction

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced, lean environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office.

  • Proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems.
