Description We are in search of a competent Procurement Coordinator to join our team based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role is significant to our interior design and procurement studio, requiring the individual to assist with budgeting, pricing, purchasing, and expediting furnishings. The role also involves coordination of furniture delivery and installation for each project, troubleshooting any potential issues, and multitasking across several projects.

Responsibilities:

• Generate, track, and expedite high volume purchase orders.

• Liaise with vendors and request pricing.

• Oversee the procurement process ensuring quality control.

• Coordinate and expedite the delivery and installation of project furnishings.

• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and generating client proposals.

• Manage and order project samples.

• Ensure detailed and accurate customer records are maintained.

• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

• Some travel may be required up to 2 weeks per year.

This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement role or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Data Entry

• Knowledge of Invoice Processing and Purchase Orders

• Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices

• Customer service skills and experience

• Ability to manage vendor relationships and handle vendor management tasks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred

• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
