As the Director of Finance, you will play a key role in driving the financial reporting, planning & budgeting, and banking activities, as well as identifying and implementing business process improvements. In this role you will collaborate closely with Firm leaders and work on organization wide projects, including financial modeling, M&A support, and continued development of Firm dashboards. Other areas this position will impact include staffing and leverage modeling, engagement set up and billing. This role will ensure there is alignment between the business, Finance, and other functional areas including People & Culture, Information Technology, Marketing, etc.

As the Director of Finance, you will:

• Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team driving financial analysis and projections, including tracking against KPIs

• Drive the budgeting and forecasting process for the Service Lines, including reviewing and implementing process improvements

• Review financial results and projects with Service Line leaders, identifying opportunities and risks, and related next steps

• Partner with Service Line leaders to resolve business questions or issues

• Assess/modify/enhance reporting for service line, client, and functional management

• Support M&A efforts from including valuation and deal structuring

• Lead key FP&A activities and projects for senior management

• Manage profitability, utilization and leverage of Service Lines and clients

• Collaborate on identifying and prioritizing modifications and enhancements to practice management systems

• Oversee month end reporting and quarterly reporting

What you bring to the role:

• Minimum of 10 years of directly relevant financial analysis experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, with MBA preferred

• Strong excel modeling experience, with valuation preferred

• Experience assessing and building management reporting, including familiarity with financial KPIs as well as the importance of the underlying data

• Executive presence, including strong communication and interpersonal skills, with collaboration being key

• Prior experience with leading an FP&A function

• Experience at managing and developing others; provide continuous coaching and feedback and provide opportunities and experiences to support team member career and professional development

• Experience in/understanding of a professional services environment

• Experience with Power BI and/or other analytical tools (Tableau, Hyperion, etc.)

• Aptitude for critical thinking with strong attention to detail

The salary range for this position is $131,670 to $370,700. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
