Robert Half is seeking a short-term contract to hire Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Non-Profit industry. A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will be working alongside a strong staff of hard working individuals who have a team minded approach. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.

What you get to do every single day

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed

• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

• Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

• Complete full-cycle A/P

• Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

• Carry out additional projects as required

• Provide support to internal business partners

  Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Excellent attention to detail

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
