MTNA Rainsville Plant is looking for an Automation Technician for 2nd shift. Purpose of Position: To support production department by responding to calls to troubleshoot and fix automation issues and to keep automationequipment in working order through regular scheduled PMs. Responsibilities: Reactive Maintenance and Troubleshoot Robotics- Motoman, Star, and Wittmann Assembly and Automated Equipment Vision Equipment- Keyence and Cognex Plastic Welding- Ultrasonic, Vibration, and other Allen-Bradley PLC Preventive Maintenance Monitor problem equipment for improvements. Robot PM Poka-Yoke PM Clip and Pin Press PM Perform 5S Activities as required. Complete all assigned tasks safely, accurately, and on time. Other duties as assigned. Skills/Requirements: Willingness to learn and change within a growing industry. Ability to observe small changes and correct before issues arise. Electrical skills for low voltage DC and AC poly phase systems Mechanical skills Robotics experience is a plus. Vision experience is a plus. Knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic is a plus. Regular and prompt attendance Good communication skills with ability to work as a part of a team. Ability to follow directions (written, spoken, and visual) Willing and able to work overtime and weekends, even on a short notice basis.
