Robert Half Procurement Associate Manager in Racine, Wisconsin

Description If you're a Project Manager that is looking to start work immediately, you may want to apply to this role via Robert Half for a company in the Racine, Wisconsin area. The Project Manager will consider suggestions from a team of Business Analysts in order to complete detailed requirements documentation, a responsibility that may involve data mapping to accounting systems for proper accounting and reporting of transactions. You'll need to bring a knack for cross-functional collaboration, as this role will require you to incorporate input and feedback from the accounting leadership team and from key participants in other functional areas. Responsibilities

  • Creates and works on work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation

  • Establishes governance approaches for the projects to ensure constant communication and issue resolution

  • Works closely with business users to describe and research business requirements

  • Explains business requirements and business process design to development team

  • Prioritizes concurrent project and support assignments, in addition to meeting stakeholder expectations

  • Crafts and maintains project sponsor expectations and acknowledges business drivers. When required, recommends changes to project scope, timing, or resources to deliver strategic solutions Requirements

  • Previous accounting function with a key role in system projects is preferred in aspiring candidates

  • Use your discretion and act on it

  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications mandatory

  • Proven success acting in a project management capacity

  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development

  • Complex problem solving skills are a must. Candidate must be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Good understanding of Quarterly

  • Hands-on experience with Engineering

  • Stakeholders experience preferred

  • Comprehension of Automation

  • Foundational knowledge in planning

  • Foundational knowledge in KPI Reporting

  • Practical knowledge of finance

  • Previous experience working with Facility

  • Deep understanding of training

  • Customer service experience desired

  • Implementation experience highly valued

  • Workstation Support experience highly preferred

  • Prior experience with Financial Notes

  • Adeptness in quality

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cash Activity

  • General familiarity with project management

  • Expertise in Execute

  • Agile project management experience highly desired

  • Partners experience desired

  • Deep understanding of suppliers

  • Experience with Planning Processes

  • Earlier work involving enterprise resource planning

  • Background working with Leadership Skills

  • Experience with procurement

  • Ensure executive management, team members, business and technology professionals get the information they need by communicating both orally and in writing

  • Having a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification is a major plus for this role
