As the Line Maintenance Product Support Engineer (PSE) you are at the forefront of aviation innovation! In this dynamic role, you'll become the vital link between our customers and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) across the globe, diving into the heart of on-wing challenges. With the power of CEOD & fault reports at your fingertips, you'll master the art of diagnosing engine trends and symptoms, steering our customers through complex troubleshooting landscapes to keep their engines—and their aircraft—flying.

As the owner of the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) hardware, you'll step into the world of being an LRU Hardware Owner. Here, you're not just managing; you're leading the charge in tracking the in-service reliability of your hardware, crafting technical lifelines for operators, and collaborating closely with LRU vendors to push the boundaries of repair development and hardware enhancements.

Your flight path extends far beyond the traditional route. Working in tandem with Engine Systems Design and Integration, Design Engineering, and Leading Indicators, you're the visionary anticipating field challenges before they arise, solving puzzles with precision and foresight. Your hardware ownership and global aviation responsibilities demand your expertise around the clock, ready to support operators 24/7 in conjunction with a broad internal global support team able to provide backup coverage and assistance on demand.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review and provide recommendations for engine troubleshooting and line maintenance cases at System level.

  • Review/interpret flight data (CEOD, snapshots, etc.) for significant and field events.

  • Support significant events Investigations, work with module owners, hardware owners, suppliers, airframer and customers.

  • Present and support technical and program reviews.

  • Develop and present EEC reliability scorecard.

  • Execute with limited guidance the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/program requirements.

  • Develop field action plans to anticipate and fix field problems.

  • Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams, mentor others in the organization.

  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with industry and government regulations, engineering policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Engine system level knowledge.

  • General engine data analytics (queries) knowledge to generate trends of engine behavior.

  • Engine controls systems, fuel, and electrical knowledge.

  • Faults reporting logic knowledge.

  • Knowledge of aviation engines and systems interactions (Fuel/Oil, Air, electrical and Engine Controls).

  • Experience on Engine Systems troubleshooting.

  • Demonstrated business technical written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.

  • Experience on presenting technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.

  • BS degree in related field or master’s degree in related field or PhD degree in related field with experience relevant to indicated position areas of expertise and knowledge of related disciplines.

  • Working knowledge of airworthiness regulations.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and influence others.

  • Fundamental understanding of the technology and tools relevant to the function.
