Job Summary :
Bureau Veritas Vietnam is looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a specialization in Process or Mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing onshore Oil and Gas projects, particularly LPG/LNG projects, and will take on a leading role in providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services and site construction supervision. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, follow strictly HSE requirements, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the end-to-end execution of LPG/LNG projects, ensuring adherence to Bureau Veritas Vietnam’s standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with all project stakeholders.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications, ensuring alignment with client requirements and engineering best practices.
Oversee the allocation of project resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maintain efficient project progress.
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting milestones, challenges, and any changes in scope.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure project components are delivered on schedule and meet required specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and Bureau Veritas Vietnam’s quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project to maintain momentum and achieve project objectives.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process or Mechanical specialty preferred).
A minimum of 10 years of experience in onshore Oil and Gas projects, with significant exposure to LPG/LNG projects.
Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Site Construction Supervisor for at least one LPG/LNG project, focusing on Project Management Consultancy Services and Construction Supervision.
Strong project management skills, with a solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Familiarity with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards in the Oil and Gas sector.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills :
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of onshore oil and gas industry processes, regulations, and standards.
Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams.
Prior experience working in Quang Ninh Province or similar settings is a plus.
