Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Budgeting & Analytics will serve as a strategic partner for the Enterprise Workforce Management team and operational leaders.

The primary responsibilities of this role will center around the maintenance and innovation of business practices that enhance budgeting exercises with the intent of supporting leaders to make more informed decisions about their workforce.

A successful candidate will be able to develop strong business relationships with key partners (Operations, Finance, IT, HR) to help leverage and streamline data and reporting processes around labor budgets, labor forecasting and well as other Enterprise Workforce Management initiatives, and will also leverage technical skills (SQL, Excel, Tableau) to develop reporting, modeling and data visualization around a wide array of Workforce Management and budgeting needs.

At the core of their skillset will be a transformative mindset, questioning/challenging the status quo and leveraging data and reporting to tell business stories about potential outcomes and investments as well as identifying key risks to the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with retail finance and budgeting processes

  • 2+ years of experience with continuous improvement and capacity planning

  • 2+ years of experience connecting multiple data sets from different sources

  • Intermediate SQL skills and relational database concepts

  • Clear and effective communicator

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access (queries, macros, forms), Tableau and PowerBI

  • An interest and ability to dissect complex data systems to reconcile outputs and trace unexpected results.

  • Ability to influence leaders to change thinking

  • Self-directed, requires little oversight

  • Strategic, forward thinker; solution-driven, with sound analytical skills and ability to learn highly technical processes

  • Strong ability to multi-task

  • Ability to positively adapt in a changing environment

  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proven track record of high performance

  • Regular and reliable attendance

  • Any additional tasks as required by the supervisor or manager

  • Occasional travel may be required, based on business needs

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
