Job Description Summary

The Materials Fulfilment Leader will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will develop processes to manage the supply chain in delivering commitments that meet business needs and manage issues within functional areas of expertise. You will also lead, mentor and develop the materials and fulfilment team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & lead the Materials & Sourcing team and support fulfilment

  • Drive Supplier & Vendor management initiatives in line with the goals of Global Materials team

  • Enhance current provisioning plan to include input from fleet data, sales teams and expected service intervals for the Repair business

  • Support the Operations Materials & Planning Leader to manage the Supply Chain associated with direct Parts and Repair sales orders to deliver to business operating metrics

  • Work with the Inventory & Kitting Leader to control inventory levels and forecasting, cycle time and other aspects required to achieve Customer delivery requirements

  • Champion and drive Lean initiatives in order to drive process improvements

  • Assure the continued development and growth of assigned personnel through strong leadership

Qualification / Requirements:

  • Experience of, or exposure to a materials planning environment would be beneficial, as would a knowledge of Lean principals.

  • The successful candidate will possess exceptional motivational, interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • The success of the role will be delivered by increasing the performance of others, so people leadership experience would be preferred but not essential

  • Strong emphasis is placed on clear and concise communication to drive the organisation to achieve demanding improvement targets.

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, plus outstanding attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, bringing tasks to successful outcomes
