benefits specialist emea (amet)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Contract: full time, permanent

We are looking for a new member of the J&J EMEA Total Rewards team who will be driving employee benefits delivery for a specific cluster of countries (Africa, Middle East, Turkey).

Major duties/ Responsibilities:

  • manage relationships with different benefit providers, brokers and global benefits portal vendor and coordinate coverage reviews, contract renewals and enrollment activities

  • coordinate reviewing, designing and implementing benefit plans in the EMEA region in cooperation with all relevant stakeholders

  • maintain benefit programs for AMET. Ensure that these programs are consistently administered in compliance with the company policies and procedures and external regulations and effectively delivered to the organization

  • participate in benchmark surveys against our competitors in various countries

  • understand the country benefits and manage appeals and exceptions through formal governance

  • work together with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on benefits issues and respond to ad-hoc benefits questions

Your team:

  • You’ll be working in the Benefits part of the Global Services Total Rewards team which is based in Prague. The team is responsible for complex solutions of JnJ’s EMEA benefit plans.

Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • knowledge of benefits in AMET, including but not limited to risk, health, wellness, retirement, and voluntary benefits

  • experience in leading projects, process redesign and new implementations

  • experience in working with benefits brokers, 3rd party vendors and administration activities

  • experience in working in a matrix organization

You are/You have:

  • very good communication and negotiation skills, able to interact with people at all levels

  • able to quickly grasp benefits issues and propose and present solutions

  • self-driven professionality with a positive team and employee-oriented attitude

  • fluent in English

  • fluency in any other language is a plus preferably one of the local languages (Arabic, Turkish, etc).

  • proficient with using datasets, MS Office and the use of analytics for insights and decision making

  • able to work independently on projects and take responsibility for your own work
