Job Details The Speech Language Pathologist provides treatment of children and adults for our multiservice pediatric and adult outpatient area with need to cover inpatient as well. Responsibilities: Evaluates clients/patients and determines causal factors for speech, language and/or hearing impairments; gathers data related to patient's communication disorder, selects appropriate evaluation tool(s) for the purpose of assessment. Administers diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of the patient's impairment and the prognosis for improvement. Develops individualized treatment programs for patients diagnosed as needing speech and language intervention. Areas addressed include articulation, voice, fluency, receptive and expressive language skills, oral motor competence, dysphagia and auditory skills. Requirements: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. (CCC) New York State license and registration in Speech-Language Pathology required. MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) required Previous experience with adult neurologic population is preferred. Hours require evening coverage. TSHH certification is needed. Salary Range USD $67.39 - USD $67.39 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
