*Job Description: *The Facility Security and General Labor role is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility while performing a variety of manual tasks to support the operation and maintenance of the facility. This role involves monitoring the premises, responding to incidents, and conducting routine inspections as well as performing general labor duties such as cleaning, moving materials, and assisting with maintenance tasks.  Schedule is Graveyard shift

Duties and Major Responsibilities:

Security Duties:

• Monitor and patrol the premises regularly to ensure safety and security.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Maintain records of incidents and compile reports for management.
• Operate and monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including evacuations and medical incidents.

General Labor Duties:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage spaces.
• Perform cleanup of hazardous or obsolete material.
• Move materials and equipment as needed, including loading and unloading.
• Assist with setting up and transferring equipment and temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding).
• Utilize power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed.
• Support other departments with various labor tasks as needed.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

   

Requirements and Skills:

• Ability to work extended evening / graveyard shifts a must.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.).
• Experience with use of pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift (required).
• Attention to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
