Trinity Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Infusion Center in Pontiac, Michigan

Description:

Provide patient focused quality care to pediatric patients and families in the pediatric outpatient infusion setting. Work as a nurse member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

The RN administers injections, IV hydration, blood products, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other infusion therapies related to supportive care for this patient population. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assesses the needs of the patients undergoing infusion therapy treatment; plans, implements, and evaluated patient care; teaches patients and caregivers; and orients colleagues and peers.

  • Requires current Michigan Nursing License

  • Graduation from accredited nursing program

  • BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years

  • Requires 2 years of experience in pediatrics

  • Requires 1 year of experience in ICU or ED

  • Current PALS certification or within 6 months of hire.
