Insight Global Sr. Utility Construction Advisor in Pomona, California

Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a Senior Utility Construction Advisor for a West Coast utilities firm. This individual will have extensive in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of utility infrastructure. You will use your expertise in various areas, including construction management, and contract enforcement to support project managers with recommendations on appropriate actions for major construction projects and programs. Additionally, you will participate in field reviews to provide engineering and environmental advice for these major projects. This position will require up to 60% travel throughout Southern California service territories.

Skills and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in project management/ construction management for projects supporting utility infrastructure.

  • Experience supporting transmission, sub-transmission, and substation construction projects within Southern California.

  • Experience working with Southern California Utilities organizations.

  • Ability to travel within Southern California service territory.

  • Knowledge of CPUC Regulations G.O. 95, 128, & 165C, and the regulatory requirements related to processing applications for licenses and permits for construction-related projects.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for construction, operations, and maintenance of substations, sub-transmission, and large-scale power projects (CPUC Regulation G.O. 131D, CEQA, and NEPA). null
