Just Around The Corner, Inc. Dog Walker and Pet Sitter in Plymouth, Massachusetts
Since 2008, Just Around The Corner Pet Care (https://justaroundthecornerpetsit.com/) has been Plymouth's pet care industry leader! We have been voted Readers' Choice, Best of Plymouth for six years in a row. We also were voted Best of Pet Care Provider in South Shore Living in 2017. We believe in training and continuing education for our motivated employees. We are also members of Pet Sitters International. We are now adding dog walkers and pet sitters to our growing team.
Pet Sitting happens mostly evenings and weekends. We would also prefer a candidate with early morning availability.
Visits can start as early as 7am or end as late as 9pm. Schedules will vary based on client demand and your availability.
Dog Walking happens mostly Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 3 PM.
Extra consideration for candidates who can work at least two weekends a month.
We are hiring for opportunities in:
Cedarville/Sagamore Beach and Ponds/Redbrook
Pinehills and Manomet
West Plymouth and North Plymouth/Downtown
Compensation:
$16 - $23 / hour (based on average staff wages after bonuses and gratuity)
New staff will start at $15 to $17 per hour base pay.
$200 - $1800 / month
Paid training with a compensation increase at four weeks.
Prepaid Pet First Aid Course
Mileage reimbursement
All supplies provided, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, and waste removal bags.
Bonuses for accepting same-day and next-day visits
Client and candidate referral bonuses
Paid sick leave

The responsibilities:
Our working hours can vary, you will need to have some flexibility.
Act as a team player by assisting other staff members as needed.
Provide safe, detailed, and attentive care for our client's pets
Provide first-class customer service using our mobile software Time To Pet
Travel to our office location upon request (on average twice a month)

Previous professional or volunteer experience with animals is preferred, but a positive attitude and a desire to learn are just as important.
