FirstService Residential HRIS Analyst (Hybrid) in Plantation, Florida

Job Overview:

As an HRIS Analyst, you’ll be responsible for serving as the technical subject matter expert (SME) and technical point of contact for HR. The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the HRIS systems including employee records, time and attendance, payroll, talent management, and recruiting. This individual will ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, security administration, system configuration and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRIS implementations, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Duties involve independent judgment and discretion on issues that may be sensitive or confidential in nature.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Champions and serves as a technical expert for Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Manages HRIS configuration, security administration, system updates, and overall functionality/performance for HR Technology applications.
  • Provide support for including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Provides technical expertise in the field of next generation HRIS and reporting tools including the development of HR metrics, business intelligence reports, and dashboards for Human Resources and the organization.
  • Development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Ensures data integrity and confidentiality within all HR technologies and vendor systems, through routine auditing, data validations, and corrective actions.
  • Proactively utilizes technology to increase effectiveness, accuracy, value, and customer satisfaction/adoption of all HR technologies.
  • Collaborate with HR teammates and other departments to ensure process efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains system/process/configuration documentation.
  • Builds and grows positive business relationships and influence across the organization as well as external vendor teams to provide systems support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and users of the HRIS throughout the organization.
  • Develop and oversee full-scope project planning, including strategically assessing business and stakeholder requirements.
  • Act as Point of Contact for assigned support/system areas and cross-train others on the support team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
  • Analyzes information/situations, defines problems, articulates logical recommendations, and recognizes alternatives and their implications.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, MIS, Computer Science, or related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on HRIS or equivalent experience required.
  • Solid understanding and expertise in Core HCM, Benefits, Onboarding, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Talent/Performance Management, and Recruiting systems is highly desirable. Previous ADP Vantage HCM, UKG Time and Jobvite ATS experience a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of data management and complex report writing skills required.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance and manage multiple efforts with strong results necessary.
  • Prior experience working as a liaison between HR and vendors is highly desirable.
  • Customer focused individual who must be able to effectively work in a fast paced & fluid business environment with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized with the ability to prioritize independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality, tact and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills to all levels of the organization and business partners.
