As a Product Director in Cloud Advancement and Transformation Solutions, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job responsibilities
Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
Collaborates closely with product management, engineering, and other teams to align on platform initiatives and drive coordinated efforts towards shared goals, advocating for developer-centric solutions
Guides Product and Platform Strategy for JPMCs Internal Cloud Offerings
Develops and executes strategic marketing and especially go-to-market plans for our cloud services platform, positioning as a preferred solution for the engineering teams
Develops and defines engaging and informative marketing and workshop materials in addition to resources to educate engineers and others on the functionalities and best practices of the cloud services platform, ultimately helping to foster adoption and an increase of cloud proficiency
Plans and executes targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and usage of the cloud services platform among internal engineering audiences, leveraging developer-centric approaches and channels
Establishes effective communication channels to keep engineers and others informed about platform updates, new features, and best practices, helping to nurture engagement and collaboration within and across the technology and product community
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience leading change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, technologies, and developer ecosystems, with the ability to effectively transpose technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Must have proven experience with products that rely on AWS
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Recognized thought leader within a related field
Experience with cloud platforms: Azure and GCP
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, derive actionable insights, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement
Preferred experience with external facing offerings and in launching internal or external products
