Carmeuse Americas Human Resources Intern in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as required

  • Updating our internal databases with new employee information like contact details and employment forms.

  • Assist with the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs for company personnel

  • Assist with recruitment efforts including: job posting, interviews, and new hire processes

  • Collaborate with payroll department on compensation, wellness and benefits data processing.

  • Provide timely and accurate customer service in interactions with HR field personnel and employees.

  • Create e-learnings to aid in the development of employee base

  • Participate in Corporate training programs

  • Assist in coordinating sustainability and corporate events

Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates pursuing an Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

  • Excellent analytical, cognitive and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to details

  • Excellent verbal and written skills; superior PC, Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Fluency in oral and written English
