General Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for an Information Assurance Engineer located in our Pittsburgh, PA location.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Working knowledge of the system engineering process
Working knowledge of verification and validation process
General knowledge of Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-37, Cybersecurity concepts
Good written and verbal communications skills
Works well within a team and understands the concept of influence management
Ability to clearly recognize and report information relevant to sound systems engineering design
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
Creative thinker
Must be able to obtain a Secret and Top Secret Clearance

Target salary range: USD $78,100.00/Yr. - USD $80,100.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
