Do you have a passion for advancing technology and driving innovation? The Unix Engineering team at the School of Computer Science is looking for a versatile DevOps Engineer to join our ranks. We run a variety of high-performance computing (HPC) environments, project servers, and workstations, and we're seeking an experienced engineer to help us support and improve our existing technology stack. Core Responsibilities: Automate provisioning and management of HPC environments and linux servers using Ansible. Develop software integrations and advanced functions for internal use using Ansible. Maintain code deployments, updates, and fixes promptly and efficiently. Improve operational efficiency by documenting and updating processes. Provide system administration for HPC cluster environments and Linux servers. Monitor and implement patches and upgrades for server operating systems. Lead projects and mentor team members.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in system administration or DevOps. Proficiency in Ansible, Python, or Unix shell scripting. Strong capability for both independent and collaborative work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on-site for a minimum of 3 days a week.

Additional Desirable Skills: Experience with CI platforms like Jenkins and GitHub. Linux system administration expertise, preferably with RedHat and Ubuntu distributions.
