Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Work Assistant for the department of Neurosurgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Work Assistant performs and assists with laboratory services and procedures in support of research activities of the laboratory. Performs other related laboratory duties as required.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Aid with research in publication editing, bioinformatics analysis, imaging analysis, histology.
  • Ensures that glassware and equipment are kept clean and are properly stored.
  • Prepares stock solutions and buffers.
  • Assists with the maintenance of the Laboratory facilities, equipment, and instruments.
  • Helps maintain records and files.
