American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business. To maintain this success, the organization must accelerate sales and drive profitable charge volume growth. The Global Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT) team within GCS is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives. The Analyst position within SPT offers you the opportunity to join this dynamic organization and help GCS navigate towards growth.

The Training Analyst is responsible for using data, performance insights, and internal customer feedback to identify training needs across the sales and client management lifecycles. The Analyst will support and evolve the training strategy to meet internal customer training needs and help reinforce trainings. The Training Analyst will be a standout colleague who will deliver on an effective training plan and the professional development of Colleagues across all segments of Global and Large.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis of the learning journey for Global and U.S. Large Enterprises, Field Colleagues to drive outstanding performance of both front-line teams (new hires and tenured) and leaders

  • Strategize and align with director and manager on Continuing Education needs and topics for assigned segment.

  • Help team with processes that will scale to meet the demands of a growing sales organization

  • Analyze how to evolve training materials, topics, and delivery methods

  • Analyze the effectiveness of the learning experience by using business performance metrics to evolve the training plan over time

  • Lead logistics of trainings both for in person events and virtual instructor led trainings including scheduling, communications, etc.

  • Support field communications including gathering content, hosting monthly field calls with an audience of over 200 colleagues

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in adult learning and training development and delivery, including effectively leading and facilitating training programs

  • Experience with One.Force, Excel, Powerpoint and Navigator or equivalent tools

  • Ability to handle complex projects

  • Ability to identify learning and performance improvement needs

  • Experience using and implementing new digital capabilities

  • Excellent business sense and results orientation

  • Outstanding relationship building skills with consistent record to effectively collaborate, partner, and consult with leaders

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all levels

  • Creative problem solver - not afraid to challenge the status quo

  • Enthusiastic, fun, flexible and demonstrates a learning mentality!

  • Expectation is to be in office 3 times per week

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience within a highly regulated industry

  • Work portfolio or writing sample preferred

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
