Honeywell Sr. Embedded Software Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced software solutions for our Aerospace (AERO) business unit. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Your expertise in software development and your commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our business and the satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of aerospace systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and test software applications for aerospace systems • Integrate software applications on the target platform • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of software products • Debug and resolve software defects and issues • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software development

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in software development • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or ADA • Experience with software development methodologies and tools • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
