How will you make an impact in this role?

We are looking for an individual contributor for the Solutions Architect – Integration role. This role will support Enterprise Top Priority programs on the full software lifecycle journey from conceptualization to design and build to implementation. Solutions and artifacts will span multiple domains in support of business and/or technical requirements. Success will be driven by not just meeting the program’s needs, but doing so in manner that improves the long-term technology ecosystem including improving availability, resiliency, advancing Point of Arrival solutions, and/or decommissioning tech debt and complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for solving problems and producing solutions.

  • Work across multiple engineering and product domains to define strategy and drive solutions.

  • Influence up/down/across and promote modern software engineering principles.

  • Think out of the box and bring solutions that advance functional and non-functional measures of success.

  • Provide architectural governance, drive alignment on technical strategy, company platform roadmaps, and enterprise standards.

  • Identify technical solutions and business process improvements to support business and IT strategy.

  • Actively participate in team and enterprise-wide architecture and engineering discussions.

  • Finds opportunities to embrace innovative technologies.

  • Work on a fast-paced agile environment with challenging initiatives and unplanned events that require rapid adjustment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of engineering experience in a complex environment and / or comparable experience

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with application solution architecture design and end-to-end software development of complex distributed (multi-tiered) systems ensuring high resiliency, availability, and reliability.

  • Proficient in cross-platform integration, middleware, and frameworks

  • Experience in modelling and architecting complex business domains and associated methodologies/paradigms i/e/ Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, CQRS

  • Expertise in distributed architectural patterns: event driven microservices, distributed transactions: sagas, append-only logs, change data capture, idempotent consumer, eventual consistency.

  • Expertise designing consumable APIs, full dominion of Open API, gateway concepts, authentication/authorization OAuth, JWT

  • Experience in modern technologies and RDMS & NoSQL databases along with CI/CD tooling.

  • Perform POC's, build frameworks and reusable libraries to help developers resolve business problems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills , networking skills and the ability to work cooperatively with and gain the respect of software developers.

  • Ability to give constructive feedback to engineering teams to increase product adoption

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent field: advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
