Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our team.As a key member of our shredder operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and manoeuvring materials using skid steer equipment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 6:00AM - 3:00PM
Pay Range: \$18.00 - \$20.00 Per Hour DOE + Full Benefit Package, Health Insurance and 401K Company Matches
- Operating skid steer and forklift machinery to move and process scrap metal materials within the shredder department
- Sorting and segregatingvarious types of metals using appropriate attachments on the skid steer
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks, containers, and processing equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized (yard) work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assisting in general maintenance tasksfor equipment and facility upkeepduring any downtime

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Skid Steer and Forklift Operator in a heavy industrial setting is a MUST
- Previous general labour experience required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Comfortable working outdoors in various types of weather (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc)
- Ability to work in a noisy and dusty, heavy industrial setting
