Description

Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Payroll Tax Manager position. This Payroll Tax Manager will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department and will be responsible for work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies. If you are a dynamic Payroll Tax Manager with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven, this may be the role for you.

The Payroll Tax Manager is responsible for ensuring payroll tax accuracy and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

Leads and develops a team of payroll analysts.

Maintains strong internal and external client relationships by addressing questions and escalations with accuracy, a sense of urgency, and professionalism.

Demonstrates strong independent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s (B.A./B.S.) in Business or related discipline

¨ Strong analytical skills.

¨ Strong attention to detail.

¨ Prior supervisory and management experience.

¨ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

¨ UKG Payroll Experience Preferred

¨ Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex information in order to improve practices or develop new approaches.

¨ FPC/CPP certification preferred
