TEKsystems Inventory Management Support Technician in Phoenix, Arizona

Description:

SUMMARY: Performs a wide range of analytical, administrative, and support activities for Inventory Management. Assignments may involve work of a confidential nature and require knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function, business unit and company policies and programs. Under minimal supervision provides a wide range of support duties to assist in achieving departmental goals. Major Accountabilities 1) Coordinates with stakeholders and business unit partners to meet inventory needs. 2) Recommends and sets inventory parameters based on analysis of supply and demand. 3) Collaborates with Procurement and Warehouse to resolve inventory discrepancies. 4) Utilizes technology such as Power BI and forecasting tools to make data driven decisions. 5) Consults with team members on informational requirements. Gathers, collects, records, tracks, and verifies data and information from multiple sources. 6) Support Inventory Management department objectives and metrics. Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge, or Qualifications: • Experience using Maximo or other Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. • Experience with SMART software or other Inventory Planning software. • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required with 1-3 years' materials or services purchasing or supply chain experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to analyze data and formulate conclusions. Ability to present ideas in an effective manner, orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.
