Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona. This role revolves around managing the full cycle of accounts payable and providing backup for other accounting roles. A well-versed understanding of Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel would be essential to perform in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable with accuracy and efficiency

• Provide backup for other accounting roles as needed

• Pull and utilize corporate reports, demonstrating strong computer literacy

• Maintain records and handle customer credit inquiries

• Process customer credit applications with precision and speed

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer credit records

• Utilize Sage Software and Microsoft Excel for various tasks. Requirements • Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred

• Proficiency in Sage Software is required

• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is needed

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or equivalent is essential, higher education in finance or related field is a plus

• Familiarity with general accounting principles is beneficial

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks is necessary

• Ethical conduct and integrity in handling financial information

• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and compliance standards in finance.
